Welcome to CORKZILLA!

By Joe Colgan and Ben Heskett

The founding of CORKZILLA can be traced to the campus of Sonoma State University, where the two principals of the website – Joe Colgan and Ben Heskett – participated in an enlightening course taught by wine enthusiast Ray Johnson called Wine Entrepreneurship. This academic experience only added to Ben and Joe’s existing wine knowledge.

Following completion of the course, Ben and Joe started tossing around different ideas to stay involved in the wine industry and use their inspiration and momentum. CORKZILLA is the emphatic result of these efforts.

CORKZILLA won’t always claim to be the most innovative source of wine-related content, but we hope to add a dash of new perspective and enjoyment to your own wine journeys. We hope to inform, and perhaps, educate a little along the way. Add several liberal doses of fun, and CORKZILLA is off and running.

We hope you enjoy the site. Don’t be a stranger – Drop us a note as we continue to build out our content base and expand our presence.

Cheers!
